Thieves got away with several boxes of meat stolen from idling semi trucks waiting for a morning dropoff in Philadelphia early on Monday morning.
The crime happened on January 29th in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at around 6 a.m. on C.F. Congdon Parkway.
According to 6 ABC, three reefer trucks were parked along C.F. Congdon Parkway overnight waiting for the receiver to open in the morning when the criminals struck. The suspects were able to cut the locks and enter the trailers, even though all three rigs had the drivers inside.
One of the truckers said he noticed some movement on his rig and surprised the suspects when he walked around the rig to see what was going on.
Three suspects got away from the scene with five boxes of meat. No one was hurt, and no further information has been released.
