Bonus for new drivers
A semi truck was struck by a highway sign in Denver, Colorado on Monday morning during a bout of high winds.
The incident occurred on May 6th just after 4:30 a.m. on Interstate 25 between 58th and Interstate 70.
According to Fox 31, strong winds in the area knocked over a highway sign spanning the length of the highway. When the sign fell, it fell on top of a semi truck, disabling the rig. The incident blocked traffic as crews responded to the incident and worked to remove the disabled semi truck.
Crews then used tools to cut the downed pole into smaller pieces so that traffic could pass through. The remaining pieces were then dragged off of the roadway.
No further information on the incident has been released.
